| Major John Martin Brucher BREAK OUT OF SOMEONE'S FRAMES DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME |

| There are over 2,400 Americans still missing and unaccounted for in Vietnam. Since the end of the war, the US has received thousands of reports about Americans being alive and in the hands of the Vietnamese. Many government officials state that they believe Americans are currently being held against their will in Southeast Asia. The question is, WHO ARE THEY, and HOW WILL WE BRING THEM HOME? If still alive, some of the POWs/MIAs are now in there 70's. They don't have much time left!! Is Major John M. Brutcher one of them that is still alive and waiting to return home to his loved ones ?
Statics about Major John Martin Brucher
Rank/Branch: 03/US Air Force
On February 18, 1969 Major John Brucher was flying a mission over North Vietnam in a F105D aircraft when it was hit by hostile fire. Major Brutcher was seen ejecting from his aircraft, and landed in some trees. His emergency beeper signals were heard, and radio contact was established. He reported that he was suppended in mid air and unable to free himself from his parachute, because he had sustained a dislocated shoulder. Rescue efforts were supended until the following day because of intense hostile fire in the area. When the rescue helicopters returned, they found the Major's empty parachute still hanging in the tree. Further radio contact attempts with the Major were unsuccessful. John Brutcher's last known location was near the Ban Karai Pass in Quang Binh Province, North Vietnam. He was listed as Missing In Action, there is every reason to believe that the Vietnamese know his fate.
Some analysts have suggested that the pilots that were flying near the DMZ on the border of Loas were aggressively pursued and eliminated by the Vietnamese. During the American ground operation known as Dewey Canyon II, the Vietnamese had troop and equipment buildup sites in the region that they wished to keep secret. They felt that pilots flying overhead might compromise this information, and try to destroy the sites themselves. Therefore the Vietnamese sought to elimate the planes.
The above information was compiled by Homecoming II Project on April 1, 1991. They gathered this information from raw data from U.S. Government agency sources, correspondence with POW/MIA families, published sources and interviews.
The 44th Tactical Fight Squardon was given permission to paint the POW/MIA patch with Major John Bucher's name below it on their squadrons Flagship. WAY TO GO GUYS.
And yet here again are the email address to your elected officials. PLEASE PLEASE let them know that we can no longer as a nation stand to have our POWS/MIAS on foreign shores. Bring them home so they can rest in peace. |
