Reproduction
The whales reach
their sexual maturity and 11 or 12 meters. Each 2 or 3 years
the female has a baby after a 11 to 12 months pregnancy.
On it's birth, the baby whale measures from 4 to 5 meters
and weights 1,3 tons!. The back is blue, but it's lower part
is white. The mother will take care of the child for a year
(It'll be already 8 meters long). On the nesting period the
female whale meet the male by the weird sounds he produces.
We think this sounds are made to attract the female.
Fortunately, this happens here in the Tropical and sub
tropical Zone
