Hi my name is Lee Catterson.
For those who want to know more about me, I was born in Hartlepool in the north east of England in 1959.I was brought to Southern Africa at the age of three and have lived here ever since. My earliest years were spent in Durban and then Mufalira, Zambia. I moved to Rhodesia, with my family, in 1970 where I lived for the next twelve or thirteen years. I attended school at Que Que junior school and Que Que high school where I was taught many of life's lessons, both scholarly and socially. I moved to Bulawayo in 1977 where I completed my last year of education at Hamilton High School. I joined the Rhodesian Army in 1978, intake 161, and did time at Victoria Falls and at Beitbridge with 1 Independent Company RAR. In 1980 I joined the Rhodesian Railways where I began an apprenticeship as an electrician. I moved to Johannesburg, South Africa in 1982, where I still live, and completed my apprenticeship.I now own my own electrical business and enjoy working for myself. I am married to Karen, a lovely local lassie, and we have two children, Michael and Michelle.
