The Standard Conditions of Probation
 
 
  The Court may adjudicate,that is, convict as a felon; or with-hold that adjudication. With-holding is usually
used once if used at all, for a first time offender.

Standard Conditions of Probation
1. Not later than the fifth day of each month, you will make out a full and truthful report on the form provided
for that purpose.

2.You will pay the State of Florida the amount of $_____ per month toward the cost of your supervision unless
waived in compliance with Florida Statutes.

3.You will not change your residence or employment or leave the county of your residence without first
procuring the consent of your Probation officer.

4.You will neither possess, carry, or own any weapons or firearms.

5.You will live and remain at liberty without violating any new laws. A conviction in a court of law shall not be
necessary in order for such a violation to constitute a violation of your probation.

6.You will not use intoxicants to excess; nor will you visit places where intoxicants, drugs or dangerous
substances are unlawfully sold, dispensed, or used.
 
 
  7. You will work diligently at a lawful occupation and support any dependants to the best of your ability. You will
notify your employer of your supervision status.

8. You will promptly and truthfully answer all inquiries by the Court or your Probation Officer and allow the
Officer to visit in your home, at your employment site, or elsewhere and you will comply with all instructions
he may give you.

9. You will submit to a warrantless search of your person, residence, and/or property.

10. You will submit to and be financially responsible for any drug testing to determine whether you
are using any illegal or prohibited substances.

11. You will submit for an educational evaluation, if directed by your Probation Officer and attend
classes regularly if so ordered.

The Court may order a fine, court costs, restitution to a victim, Public Defender fees, investigative costs..etc.
The Court may prohibit all alcohol use, or contact with a victim. The Court can add conditions not listed, or
vacate condtions. Each county, and each state uses slight variations to the example order, but almost all
orders are very similar in nature.
Each order lists the case number,the County of jurisdiction, the length of supervision, offense, sentencing Judge
and date; and of course the offenders name.

 
 
Drug Offender Probation also includes 1-11

You will submit at least monthly to tests to determine if you are using any controlled substances.

You will enter and successfully complete any program, in-patient or out-patient so orderd by the
Court, or your Officer, and you will submit to tests when ordered by treatment staff or your Officer.

You will comply with any curfew or travel restrictions so ordered by the Court or your Officer.

Note that the Court can order a jail sentence, or community service work as part of any type of supervision.

COMMUNITY CONTROL also includes 1-11 (House Arrest) usually a 2 year maximum

You will maintain an hourly accounting, of all your activities on a daily log which you will submit to your
Officer upon request.

You will report to your Officer on a weekly basis, or if unemployed daily, or so directed by your Officer.

You will remain confined to your approved residence except for one halfhour before and after your
approved employment, public service work, or any other special activities approved by your Officer.

If placed on Electronic Monitoring you will wear the monitor at all times, maintain a private phone line,
be responsible for lost and damaged equipment, and follow all rules as instructed. You will pay the
State of Florida $1.00 a day for the cost of Electronic Monitoring.

  As areas of counseling specialties increase the Court may order specialized counseling such as : Anger Management,
Life Skills, Domestic Violence/ Batterers Intervention,on going AA, Parenting Classes, or specialized Sex Offender
Treatment Programs. The Court may specify to the type of evaluations. Psychological, Mental Health, and Substance
Abuse, and Sex Offender evaluations are all different.
