Model ship plans series
At the breakout of the I. World War, the Navy of the
Austrian-Hungarian Monarch was the 8th strongest fleet in the world. With
my drawings I would like
to make a memento to the ships and their brave mariners and I would like
to try to please the big troop of model builders and shiplovers. The plans
contain two parts, a main page and a brochure with the drawings of the
details. On the main page, there is a side- and a top-view. Usually the
rib-section has got its place also here. The proportion of the main pages
in the case of larger ships is 1:100, by smaller ships 1:50. Some older
ships can have a different proportion. The details are usually in 1:50 or
1:25. The brochure is completed by the contour-picture of the actual ship, colour painting scheme, sections
and the data sheet. The finishing of a ship's plan is procede by a long
collecting and research. The plans are made by using the still existing
original documents and photos, for example the original plans of the
Kriegsarchiv, Vienna. If you want to buy or you need more information, send
e-mail. |
