The Tramp's Story

Footloose and collar-free, The Tramp is a kindhearted mutt from the wrong side of tracks. This streetwise scoundrel has no ties to any humans (he eats breakfast and dinner at a different restaurant or home each day of the week!). And, no dog has a knack for giving the slip to the dog-catcher like the Tramp! He is completly happy in his care-free life. That is, until he meets a well-bred Cocker Spanial named Lady. Before meeting this classy girl, Tramp had never stayed tied down to the dames, he never took them seriously. But, there's something different about Lady.
When the miserable conditions of aunts and cats drive Lady from her "snob hill" home to the wrong side of town, Tramp saves her life from a pack of vicious dogs. After helping her remove a dreadful muzzle, Tramp tells Lady all about the joys of his leash-free life, even though she doesn't quite understand. Following a romantic spagetti dinner at one of Tramp's favorite restaurants, the two dogs spend a "Belle Notte" together and fall head over paws in love. Unfortunatly, Tramp's ways land his "Pidge" in the dog pound after a wild chicken chase. There, the Tramp's infamous reputation precedes him and Lady hears about all of his other adventures and "dames". Aunt Sarah picks Lady up from the pound and cruely chains her to her dog house. Hurt and furious, Lady at first refuses to even talk to Tramp when he comes bearing gifts of apologies. Then, she loses her temper and demands an explantion for "Trixie and LuLu, and Rosita Chiquita.. Oh whatever it was!" Without giving the poor Tramp a chance to answer or explain, she yells, "GOODBYE" and disappears into her dog house. Ashamed, Tramp sadly walks out of her life forever with his tail between his legs.
Minutes later, Lady spots a huge rat sneaking into the baby's room of her house and barks frantically for help. Hearing his loves' yells, Tramp is back in a second. He bravely fights and kills the vicious rat, only to be accused of being a baby attacker by Aunt Sarah. The heroic dog is picked up by the dog catcher and taken towards the pound. Frantic to save her Tramp, Lady alerts her newly arrived home owners of what really happened. With the help of Lady's faithful friends, Jock and Trusty who learn they too had badly misjudged Tramp, they are able to save the brave dog from his death.
The next Christmas the Tramp is no longer a tramp, but a happy one family dog (Complete with a collar!) and the proud papa of four little puppies.
