This is a little guide I put together for all you would be heroes out there! Remember, take notes!
You Gotta Have a Girl!
Behind every great man is a great woman! Potential Heroes, a heroine is your #1 must have if you're going to really make it in this buisness! You're going to need her to stand by you when no one else will, fight for you (and sometimes WITH you when you're being hard headed!) and most importantly to love you! Keep Your Eyes Open For The Dark Side!
A true hero may be measured by the strength of his heart, but defeating a villian sure makes for great headlines! Potential Heroes, when looking for an arch nemesis, keep your eyes peeled for people who seem to have 1. A Power and Control Complex, 2. Thinks a Great Deal of Themselves. 3. Is Greedy and/or Jealous, and 4. Sports a wardrobe in shades of black, particulary a cape. If you spot someone who matches two or more of these points, odds are you're looking at a villian waiting for a place to happen! Everybody Needs a Buddy!
Potential Heroes, a sidekick is not a mandatory thing in the hero business, but they are highly recommended! A good sidekick will cheer you when you're blue (Or brownish-gold!), get you out of tight jams, and support you to the hilt! When choosing your very own sidekick, look for cute little animals, extra points if they can talk and/or have thumbs! Also, consider comical outcasts or even your best friend! Sidekicks come in all shapes and sizes, the choice is yours! BUT, heed this warning, choose CAREFULLY! Don't pick anyone who will steal your thunder, is a selfish, cowardly little bugger, or tends to lean towards personal gain at all times. That can only end in tears! Publicity!
Heroes deeds make them great, but not if nobody hears about them! You need to get yourself a darn good publicist... may I recommend a satyr? Until you do though, public forums are an excellent place to spread the word and hear the latest news! Hey, it worked in Ancient Greece!
