THE ANGEL WITHIN

The Angel Within There is an Angel inside of you for this I know, He lives within your Heart And cradles the Purity of your Soul. With earthly sins we find forgiving They are a part of Life.. a part of Living. For this I know, I have been taken to where you will someday go. So the angel remains within your Heart He has always been there right from the Start. The angel began life when you were Born And Angels don't leave When the threads in life get Torn. Your soul...the Angel has kept Pure, Often, when your Decisions were not Sure. Every kind Thought and every kind deed Satisfied you and filled the Angels need. Even though words often go Unspoken Your Kindness to others have spread the tokens There is an angel inside of you. For this I know For I have seen the Angel that cradles your Soul. I see him in your gestures, the way you live Life. I can see him in your eyes... though you feel grief and strife. I see him when you Walk, I hear him when you Talk, And when life was Hard and you were too weary to Rest That is when I saw your Angel best. Your life is protected.... though you will someday die For it is your Angel that will teach you to Fly Heaven will patiently await your arrival Opening the gates from your Earthly survival For this I know.... I have seen the Angel that cradles your Soul.
