An example
of collaboration
This painting, called "Peasants going to the market",
is an example of how sometimes painters of the "Antwerp School"
worked together to make one piece of art.
In this case, Frans SNYDERS (1579-1657) painted the animals and the fruits,
while Jan BOECKHORST (1605-1668) completed the task of painting the people.
This work can be seen in the Rubens' House.
