Adults on Mission

All adults are invited to an evening of scripture reading, prayer, fellowship, and an opportunity to learn of missions. We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in Anderson Hall or members homes.

Place:  Jane Hixson's
Date:  April 16, 2009

Time:  7:00 p.m.

Mission Study Theme:  "Ministry to the NOSUMA"

Challenge

Adults on Mission are challenging members and friends of PBC to collect 1000 nonperishable food items for a local food bank. During April, everyone is asked to bring one or more canned or boxed food items each Sunday. PBC youth will be counting, packing and delivering the food to the food bank. There will be a weekly report in the bulletin. With everyone participating, we can meet this challenge.

Prayer Request

Please pray for our President, our government leaders and the American people.  Thank you!

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holly Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mt 28:18-20)
