Are a group of dinosaurs similar to that of Anklyosaurids, the difference is that Nodosaurids have no tail clubs. These two groups were faster moving than the sauropods and slower then other 'Orinthisians'. Their main defense was to lie on the ground to protect their stomach that had no armor.

Edmonta longiceps 'from Edmonton formation Alberta Canada'

Plant eater. 23 feet long. 23 feet long, 6-7 meters long. Long and narrow skull and heavily armored.
E.rugosidens had a 15.5 inch head known from armor skull and other parts found in Montana.

Palaeoscincus costatus 'ancient skinus'

Plant eater. 83-73 MYA late cretaceous. First Nodosaurid to be discovered. Based on teeth. It is questionable as being a valid name.

Panoplosaurus mirus 'armored lizard'

Plant eater. 76-73 MYA late cretaceous. 18 feet long. Found in early 1900's. Top and sides had spikes on it.

Sauropelta edwarsi 'small shielded lizard'

Plant eater. 116-91 MYA Early Cretaceous. 19 feet long. Short legs and a stiff tail. It's hind legs stronger then the front. Had ovals and triangular armor on it. Boney spikes on its shoulders.
