At the time, this was the farewell album from the band, but instead of helping fans say goodbye, it simply left them calling for more! Its a very varied album compared to the previous two, however, a must for any PUSA fan
1. LOVE DELICATESSEN � This is a perfect way to begin an album, a mid tempo song with various amusing lyrics. There is a very summery feel to this, something which is typical of PUSA! * * * *
2. VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR� Very soon after the release of this album, the track was included in the hit movie 'the wedding singer', something which has led to this being one of PUSA's most well known songs. This is a fantastic cover with a positive mood flowing throughout * * * *
3. MOBILE HOME � This track has a much more aggressive feel than the first two and I think this is something which makes the album as varied as it is. A great way to keep the listener interested! * * *
4. JAPAN � This has a very 'springy' feel right from the onset. With a beat which is easy to tap to, you'll find its hard not to! * * *
5. SUNSHINE�Well, after hearing this quite blatent country song, no one can blame PUSA for not varying their music! This makes a great change and it a very funny song to listen to, again with summer as a central theme. * * *
6. BACK PORCH (LIVE)�This is a fantastic version of a hit from the first album with PUSA doing what they do best, playing live! The live track inbetween many recorded ones makes a pleasant change.* * * *
7. MAN (OPPOSABLE THUMB)�In a similar style to mobile home, this song introduces a heavier more aggresive feel to PUSA's music. A great song which is sure to stick in your head! * * * *
8. TIKI LOUNGE GOD�.After such an aggressive song it becomes clear that the guys think long and hard about where they position their tracks as this is as mellow as songs come, especially by this band!* * *
9. TEENAGE GIRL�.This song is very similar to early presidents, showing that they have not altered their style. This is easily a song that could be found on the debut self titled album, ditorted bassitar and strong vocals make it a very safe bet. * * *
10. SLIP AWAY�.This is a very different kind of song for the presidents, with a more melodic intro comapred to most. However, they soon break into typical PUSA style with the chorus.* * *
11. TREMELO BLOOZ�.Again, very much a country feel is expressed through this song with the help of a very complicated finger picking guitar riff throughout. * *
12. CLEVELAND ROCKS�.This is a fantastic song with a marvlous high pitched guitar lick throughout the chorus which makes you wanna sing along!* * * *
13. LUMP (LIVE)�.If I had made this PUSA title myself, I could not have chosen a better way to end the album. Recorded in New Your City in late '96, this is a fitting way to end what was then a farewell album. * *
