PurposeThe OEA GLBTC is established to protect the rights and interests of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members of the Association, students and their supporters.
HistoryThe Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Caucus of OEA initially organized at the 1996 OEA Representative Assembly and unified with the NEA GLBTC in 1997 and has been holding annual meetings at OEA Representative Assembly since then.
