Exercising
As for as my level of fitness,
I considered myself average. I work out during weekdays and jog for
a least once every week. A healthy body means a healthy mind. Exercising
helps me to improve my balance, muscular strength, and can also relieve
stress and anxiety resulted from everyday life. In so many ways,
exercising can improve your physical and mental health, no matter
what your age. Often, if my schedule allows, I will try to work out during
the afternoon or during the early evening period. However as for
jogging, I normally start during the late evening time or in the early
wee hours of the day, in order to escape from the sun's scorching heat!
Taking up exercise also does not mean you must spent a fortune on sportswear.
For jogging or gym all I need was a good pair of running shoes, and comfortable
clothing that is suitable for the weather. However sticking to a regular
exercise routine can be a challenge. It is especially tough when you are
feeling exhausted after a hard days work. Therefore in order for me to
remain committed, I motivate myself by planned my schedule ahead of time,
setting small fitness goals and also take a break on weekends to pamper
myself! |
Reading
I also like to read and draw at times. I loved to visit MPH,
Borders
and also the Kinokuniya
Bookstores during my leisure hours. The Kinokuniya Bookstore located at Takashimaya
Shopping Centre, is one of the largest bookstore in South East Asia. Looking
for the latest quality books, magazines or comics? Books ranging from fiction,
non-fiction, fashion, science, computer, health, business or many more are all
there and are free for browsing! The are so many varieties of books there that
always keep me occupied for hours at least. Another place where I also frequently
visit for books is the Borders Bookstore at WheeLock's Place. The place is also
wonderful and is a just stone throw away from Takashimaya.
There are also plenty of cafes like Coffee Express, Starbucks within the enclosure
of the bookstore. This enables me to savor a soothing combo of vanilla, steamed
milk and whipped cream while reading my favourite book. At times, various authors
will also come and promote their books, so do not forget to grab their autographs!

Shopping
Looks like shopping is not a girl's passion but also a guy's one. Orchard
Road is the area where high class hotels predominate. It is also the domain
of Singapore's elite, who are lured by the the night clubs, restaurants, bars,
lounges and shopping centres.
Down at Orchard road, the premier shopping district of Singapore is also where
I often like to go to. With the numerous shopping centres stretching all the
way from Orchard Road to Raffles City,
Suntec City and to Marina
Square, I can shop till I am weak on my knees! Nevertheless, I am not a
spendthrift. I just prefer do window shopping most of the time. By visiting
one departmental store after another, I can compare their product prices and
if I am lucky I might also come across huge sales or discounts too!

Music
Well as a matter of fact I also like to listen to music when I am doing homework,
bored or even sad...... I liked to sing too and will often karaoke with my sister
and with my friends. Even if I am upset I still do sing cause I feel better
after that! Weird isn't it? I like songs especially those from Sun
Yanzi and The Corrs. Others
from Jay Chou, Michael Learns to Rock, Britney Spears, Nsync, Backstreet Boys
are also fine with me. Techno is okay, however I dislike heavy metal music,
and also Japanese and Korean ones cause I do not understand what they are singing
about. I normally hunt for CDs in either HMV
at Heeren near Orchard Road or at Tower
Records in Suntec City. They is a wide varieties of music CDs, VCDs and
also DVDs for you to chose from. Furthermore, I can also get to preview and
listen to the latest songs or watch the latest MTVs there.
