Flow Chart

The production flowchart is a visual representation of the sequence of the content of your product. It shows what comes first, second, third, etc. as well as what your audience will do, if anything, and what will happen when they've done it. A completed flowchart organizes your topics, strategies, treatments, and options into a plan from which you can work out the details of what each screen, page, frame, or shot will look like. Four particular types of flow charts have proven useful when dealing with a process analysis: top-down flow chart, detailed flow chart, work flow diagrams, and a deployment chart. Each of the different types of flow charts tend to provide a different aspect to a process or a task

Construction tips

Gathering of information of how the process flows with repeated trial of process flow allows other more familiar personnel to check for accuracy. It is also important to make changes if necessary. This can be performed by comparing the final actual flow with best possible flow.

All major elements of the project are indicated clearly with them being clearly labeled too. You must ensure the sequence of the elements is clear, logical and there is no gaps in between or dead ends. Most importantly the flowchart symbols must be used correctly.

Suggested Software
