Having a good leader in NERF wars is often what decides whether you win or lose. A good leader will tell his team what to do and how to do it. Do you want to become a better leader? Then read this article, aimed at helping you become a better leader.

Lets face it some people are natural leaders while other prefer to follow. However even if you are not blessed with the ability to lead your team to victory you can get better at it. The very first thing a good leader must know is basic tactics with out them you will not be able to develop a good battle plan which in essential to victory.

A good leader will always make sure that his team knows what they need to do to win. This includes explaining to the team where each member should go and what they should do when they get there. The less experience your team has the more you need to help them, but remember to allow your team to give input on the battle plan. I normally help the younger nerfers by assigning them waypoints. After you have told them the waypoints ask them to repeat their mission. If they get it wrong tell them again and have them repeat it. If they still do not get it you may have made the waypoints to complex. As you assign various team members certain tasks remember their individual skill level and what gun they are using. NEVER assign you troops a mission that you yourself would not do.

This is probably not a big problem but it needs to be addressed anyway. As the leader of the team you need to fight too. Maybe not on the frontlines but always try to have an active role in the battle.

Another important thing to remember when leading your team is not to put down your team. Keep their moral high by tell them the good things they are doing and use constructive criticism to point out their mistakes and help them correct the mistakes. After the game have a �debriefing� and figure out what worked and what did not work.

For all these tips to work you need to have the trust of your team. Be assertive and do not allow any rebellion to develop. Overall remember to use common sense with basic strategy. Using this article I have written 10 tips for leading your team to victory:
