hyde's diary  from : LE-CIEL 22   Hyde's diary Aug - Oct 1999 3/8 Fri Actually we were planing to do vision first but since it was raining pretty hard so we have to work in the warehouse instead, HEAVEN'S DRIVE PV uses black screen as the main concept. This kind of art pix is very popular now. 4/8 Sat First day in Nagoya is really fun! 5/8 Sun Second day, te-chan's name was included in guest seat, pretty cool~~ 20/8 Fri Rehearsal at big site, doing anything open-air in the middle of Summer wasn't that fun, it was so hard! For example is when we want to use the bathroom, we do have bathroom but it's very small and hot!! This is all outdoors' false~ why there's no air condition naa~~ At night, we watch some video, although we got to watch so many thing in [AREA 4] all our tour but don't know why I can remember nothing. 21/8 Sat We can't use our HEAVEN'S DRIVE CAR in Live at Tokyo, this is really regretted. Although we did talk about this before and they said it's ok but we just can't use. Finally, we have to walk through audiences like that, I felt so shy doing so, don't know how should I act and stuff. I might do it better than that if I'm good in this area ^^ 22/8 Sun Last day… what should I say? All those days of hardworking would be over now, this is the last day so we have to do our best. This live is really good, I think if we do it great, the audiences may shed their tear for the impression ..well, I'm not sure about it though ^^ (laugh) hehe this is really a good live! After that we also have interview with Asian reporter so we had to work pretty late that night. 25/8 Wed Today I watched the movie [Metrix] because I saw preview of it and think it'gotta be good, it's really good action movie, I like climax part the most, really great!! Te-chan also watched it and said it's good, really wanna make thiskind of scary pix, bloody and stuff. 26/8 Thu Doing TD for the sound in live video for about one week. That day they said we would finish our work pretty late at night so I'm pretty free in daytime, well what else I can do? I gotta work on the new song anyway, there's an order from our boss that we gotta work work and work!! This is because the new single will be released on September, 3rd and then after that we will have days off. Acording to our schedule, if we have to work, that's not gonna be the serious one, just talk and discuss about each other part, comment and work on it just a little bit to make it easy for the real work, that's it! 9/9 Wed Asian promotion! We started our trip from Thailand, this is my first time in other Asian country. Thailand is so cool~~ I heard that [there must be a hundred of your fan waiting for you in Thailand] I thought it might be sth like when the Beatle came but there were more than I thought. When I got off the plane, there're around 10 photographers so I just continue working and thought [this is not so strange]. Then I heard the flash sound again and again, I still thought it came from those reporters, they just do their work, nothing at all but actually, they're our fans all over the airport. (laugh) it's pretty strange coz people in japan don't do this. A while later, I heard greeting sound from all over the place, they were waiting for taking a photograph and stuffs, this kind of thing is pretty normal coz it's weird if they will just stay still. There're many people that look like a cop all over the place, record company staff were busy working with electronic cable and stuff, we waited for around 30 mins and they they said [There're too many people, seemed like we gotta change our plan now] sigh! There were many people all over, like snow flooding from all direction(laugh) We can't really run away so we have to walk real quick to the v.i.p. room but there're too many people so I have to walk ot the exit as fast as I can. Those people at the back try to push and get in and that's when te-chan trip over, the manager who is next to him try to help him up and there's a screaming sound and stuff all over the airport, very loud too. I was pretty excited with the event and finally I couldn't reach the exit door so I have to use back door instead, just like when we met those detectives but not that bad. Thai fan surprised me at some point, I think [it came out like this coz they really like us] and then [oh~ this is how they act] sugoii~!! Really wanna say thanx to them ^-^ The next day, we have lot of promotion stuff to do; TV, magazine and radio program to attend for all day. Get out from the hotel to TV station at night time, we have to get on the bus quietly and fastly, it took us not so long to the studio and when we arrived, I saw lot of fans waiting for us, they kept calling our name [Hyde! Hyde! Hyde!] all the times. (laugh) When we went to one studio (Channel V Thailand) and since they have no toilet in the studio building so I have to go to the other one at the back of the studio and while I walking through, I saw a hundred of fans waiting there. There's only a few toilet there and it's pretty small so I can't do my business that easy but well, it's pretty fun [dangerous ne~] and then I went out of this building and there is [O-ho~] many people were there and here come the sound [Hyde! Hyde!] like they were cheering me for doing my business in the bathroom, such a strange feeling ^^ 11/9 Mon yukky and ken came for photo shoot of B PASS on 11th and may be 12th too~ At first, we get on the car from downtown to the location, it's very hot! After that we have an interview at the hotel and some photo shoot, I didn't see this kind of picture that much. It was so hot so everything is pretty hard, I didn't see it yet though. 12/9 Sun Shopping at Patpong arcade, there are lot of boots and tents for selling many stuffs. I think they're pretty strange night plaza, I bought a few things back too, 2 stuff butterflies, bugs and a bat, they are so beautiful~ 13/9 Mon My first time in Korea! Many people said about all those high buildings there and now I got to see them, this is so great! I think they can do this coz they don't have earthquake so they can build lot of strange building, their shape are pretty strange and unnatural. For example is an elephant one or the one that big on the top but small at the middle part or sth like this. I saw their sight seeing in the nighttime and went to the bar too. As for the toilet, I heard rumors about it before so I didn't get to go there coz I wasn't in that need. My imagination is seeing beautiful sight seeing in the night time from the mirror of high building, just like Shopan~ May be the director would have some weird thinking~~ I'm so regret that I didn't go there because it's very close with the elevator where I was. On the way back, I thought about it and really regret coz it's such a beautiful place. Fans in Korea is pretty much the same with fans in Tokyo, let it be as it is ne~ (laugh) 15/9 Wed Went to Taiwan, it took us so long at the airport and the worse thing is we have nothing to do at all, if only here is Patpong na.….. ar! They are not the same anyway~ I wanted to buy some souvenir too na~~ There're some fans wait for us out side as well, I think they might wait for us since last night till today, our plane was delay for about 6-7 hours ne. There might be someoen that wait for us around 24 hours already, really sympathy ne~ Finally, we arrived here around 11.00pm. A stall here looks pretty good, there're many people walking all around too. There're lot of our fans at the back, they all stay in row neatly. (laugh) There is also a big bell, it's about 20 cm long, I think it's some religious stuffs, don't know exactly what is it for but it's pretty cute, nice size, wanna have one ne~ And then, I bought some stuffs. Before the seller sell it to me, some of them did ask [Are you the one who were in Television?] or sth like that too. It's very hot there, may be I'm allergic with this kind of whether so if I get to buy some cheap thing [not allergic for sure ^^], I'd feel better so I bargained the price a lot. There's one Sony staff gave a present to ken-chan too, he said there's no ken-chan but ken-san, isn't it glad? Taiwan is pretty much the same with Japan but Thailand is way different, I used to think I don't want to come here even though I got a chance but now I got to try and change my mind finally. I feel so good seeing many people waiting for greet us, wanna play live so much ne~ 19/9 Sun Came back from Asian Trip and have a photo shoot for official calendar, I can't remember anything at all for this day ^^ 24/9 Fri Went to one of my friend's wedding, there's the people from REORUM came to his wedding and play a very good music, I got one CD from this party too. 26/9 Sun Recording LOVE FLIES, I can't be tardy worker anymore, gotta work on our new song ne~ This time I can finish it pretty fast. Normally, there're lot of thing that need to be done, such as TD record, song for CM of Toyota in Asia named [get out from the shell], this song is yukki's, cute~~ 1/10 Fri Mastering [LOVE FLIES] and TD of [get out from the shell]. From now on, I gotta start recording radio regular program coz if there's no talking from us at all, it's not gonan be the good program. Therefore, this is the first step for being host, it's pretty fun ne~ the DJ of this program is Yamada Hisashi kun 3/10 Sat – 4/10 Sun Filming CM and PV [LOVE FLIES], there's a scene that I have to be with a girl too, there's also some scene that hard for analyzing and normal scene. All of them give different feeling, like walk in to the green screen that we have to film for almost 2 days..well, it's not that hard though. We also have birthday party for te-chan too! 8/10 Thu Music Station Special, many people were there but it's not that fun (laugh) 9/10 Fri Interview for Smart. Every time I met producer of jebran, I'll get handmade bread lar~ 10/10 Sat Full speed on NEO UNIVERSE, this single will be released next year, it's pop style that we were longing for a long time. 16/10 Fri Working on SelfPortrait for R&R NewsMarker 18/10 Sun Recording UTABAN and CDTV, this time around we have lot of promotion programs ne~ 24/10 Sat Do TD for NEO UNIVERSE 25/10 Mon Interview for magazines and recording POP JAM. 29/10 Fri Went to Music Station, working on our new song and then we have a week off.   er! Next year is 2000 ne~ I'll still working on this hyde's diary, there's still lot of thing to do next year ne~ (laugh)
