CHEVELLE AIME THOMAS

Chevelle brings her 20 years of acting experience into every performance as an Old West Reenactress. Although she has only been performing in the Old West era for 4 years, her experiences include performances with the Kansas City Community Opera and numerous acting competitions, the most recent of which includes awards for National Best Actress - National Association of Old West Gunfighters Teams 1996 and National Best Actress - Old West Living History Foundation 1997. Her knowledge and expertise of the Old West is vast. This includes costuming - winning Most Authentic Costume Awards in 1996 and 1998.

Her characters that she portrays encompasses a large area of the Old West. From her persona as Agatha Rose "Irish Rose" Kinkade - a mankiller recruited into The Sweet Revenge Gang, to May Lillie, star performer of the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show. She is quite impressive in her portrayal of both characters.

In addition, Chevelle has educated herself on many historical subjects of the Old West era. She has made presentations on the Harvey Girls, Childrens Games of the 1800's, The Santa Fe Trail, The Pony Express and Whip Lore.

Chevelle says that portraying a lady outlaw allows her to be someone she isn't and at least for a few minutes it lets her be ruthless and "bad". She finds it a rather cathartic experience and enjoys it tremendously. "I wouldn't have it any other way" she recently stated.

The twinkle that is always in her eyes indicates, to the rest of us gals in the gang, some of that "bad girl" really does exist in her.
