PROLOGUE: JULY 25, 1860

Dreamville started out with a mere ten people a little over a year ago, and now it’s grown to 49 people. We’ve had some people come and go this past year. And most recently we’ve had a family of three leave that had been here since the town began. Due to this development the boutique is up for sale by the banker. The restaurant, Silver Spoon, has come under new management in the past year. And now recently there is new management directing the ongoings of the hotel staff and customers. Although the population has decreased and increased over the past year the town has stayed basically the same except for one new establishment that has taken root in Dreamville to the dismay of some and enjoyment of others, the Le Chateau, the bordello. Even though ruckuses occur there occasionally and drunken brawls and gunfights break out now and again in our community the town is peaceful and safe due to the sheriff and the mayor.
