Amy Grant's reality show Three Wishes has been cancelled according to the FOA website. Due to budget constraints, NBC changed their minds and decided not to continue with the show & rescinded their order for 6 more episodes. I hate to see the show go. It was such a positive light on TV. The December 9, 2005 show was the last show that will air on NBC. Email [email protected] and voice your support for Three Wishes.

I asked Amy at the Williamsport concert about the new possible DVD with the greatest hits and she said Jennifer would know the details but she wasn't out there. Amy did say it would be a compliation of videos from the past. I also asked her if the Jesus Loves Me/ Medley she did during the summer tour was going to be on her new Hymns CD and she said "No". I told her some people on the FOA board really loved it and that if it was going to be on the new Hymns cd, that they were psyched...she told that to her tour manager...so maybe that will change.
Order Amy Grant's Greatest Hits 1986-2004 from musicspace.com & get both the DVD and CD with bonus 5 extra songs for a great price. Unfortunately, the promo of receiving an autographed cover from Familychristianbooks.com soldout.

""Miss America Ericka Dunlap, left; Sheilah Griggs, a model and cancer survivor; and Amy Grant sit in the Mazda Miata that Grant is donating for a charity fund-raiser, Win Your Ticket To Ride."
Congratulations to Sherri Fristoe of Tennessee... the winner of Amy Grant's Mazda Miata "Win Your Ticket To Ride" giveaway!
Amy gave her burgundy 1995 Mazda Miata (with a mere 20,000 miles on it) for a drawing for those involved in the Positively Pink breast-cancer awareness campaign. Amy announced her donation in the summer 2004 at Princeton's Grille in Green Hills with her buddy, Miss America 2004 Ericka Dunlap, a fan of Amy, by her side.
Amy thought if she gave this car to Positively Pink that they could raffle it off on the website and people could have the chance to support a cause she believes in. This would also hopefully allow one of her fans to win the car that means so much to her. She had originally wanted people to be able to register for it and show their name on the website every time they paid to enter the raffle. The only problem was, raffles are illegal in the state of Tennessee!
So they had to come up with another idea to give her car away, while raising awareness and funds for The MPCF through the Positively Pink website. She received the car as a gift from her management for being a great artist to work with. She has 2 children who are now of driving age, and it?s a sports car. She didn?t want her kids to drive it but she didn?t want to sell it either because it means so much to her. So she decided the best thing she can do with a gift is to continue giving it hoping it will bring attention to a cause that touches many lives, in honor of an amazing woman whose legacy we all hope to carry on, Minnie Pearl.
"This unique campaign will touch so many lives just as Minnie Pearl did through her generosity, compassion, and humor."

On Youthbuilders.com the week of May 8th, 2004...
This Week's Radio Program: AMY GRANT: BLENDING HER FAMILY
According to the latest U.S. Census, the 'traditional' nuclear family now accounts for only 1 of every 4 American households...meaning that nearly 75% of us live in either a single-parent or blended-family arrangement. Amy Grant, contemporary music legend, joins Jim Burns to talk about her marriage to country star Vince Gill, and the challenges she faces daily in making her blended family work.
You can go to the Youthbuilders.com website and listen to the interview, order a copy of it, view the 5 Tips for Learning to Appreciate the Simple Things, and they even have a link to order the Simple Things CD.
Amy loves Halloween! Some of her past costumes have been a SnowSki Bunny and a Constant Man of Sorrow upon which after she dressed in the costume, she said Vince would not kiss her for a week!
Habitat for Humanity built a Habitat House in honor of Amy Grant. The project was started by two local admirers of Amy and her music. Michelle McNeil and Reba Baskett, both residents of the Nashville area, came up with the idea as a way to give back to Amy for all that she has done for people from all over the
world. Because of their drive and determination, the money was raised,
and a Ground Breaking ceremony took place in April 1999. The home
was built in North Nashville.
Amy Grant, spokeswoman, appeared at A Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation fund-raiser kickoff lunch Friday, January 23, 2004.
