After the show was the Meet & Greet which was awesome! I got to stand with fellow FOA members whom I got to know at the Walk for Education in October & it was great seeing everyone again. We got to talk while we waited for Vince and Amy....waited over an hour but it was worth it! I got Amy to sign my group picture from the Walk for Education that was of her & most of the FOA people & a picture from the show of Amy & Vince that I got them both to sign. Due to the snowstorm, I came unprepared to the meet & greet as I did not get to get out & get photos enlarged that I wanted to take with me. It was still great to see Amy & Vince. I told Vince my Hubby was checking out his guitars as he is starting to learn guitar. I talked to Amy about the weather & staying in Baltimore & she said there was great stuff to do there. I didn't get to talk to Amy as much as I'd like due to my own stupidity of not knowing what to say & not planning ahead but thanks to Dasha & Jeff from FOA whom were near me, I got to hear some great info from Amy, like she may not do a Simple Things tour as she is doing the MercyMe tour & the record company wants her to go back in the studio & all she can do is make music....and at the Christmas show at the MCI Center back in 2001 (I was there) that President Bush sponsored a child through Compassion International at that show as he came to hear Amy & Vince & the person in charge at Compassion read his first letter that he sent to the child out of curiosity & it said something like "I am just an old man whom loves children..." ..
