lpga in may back in nasvhille...less focus on entertainment..no FOA opportunities other than to come watch the event...

talked about House Of Love cd only 42 min...during that time, amy felt like they were firing on all pistons 1st time working w/ Michael Omartian, Keith Thomas, and Brown Bannister on 1 project..competition between producers and a&m massively backed the cd added to helping it.

asked about playing guitar for terminally ill patients...high school friend of Amy's is director of alive hospice in Nashville invited her to play several times...one woman Mrs. Nutter was highlight of her christmas a few yrs ago

what's up w/ record company? everyone amy's known at a&m has been replaced..in awkward position of having no point person who connects w/ her music they are paying her to make records but not paying to promote them...feels like a kept woman...doing the best she can to promote Simple Things herself..primarily word of mouth and one city to next...reminds her of 25 yrs ago..word is working to re-establish relationship with Christian radio but format has changed to praise and worship and less ccm-oriented

asked about sneezing or bathroom while on stage...adrenaline shuts that down for Amy...yawning during El Shaddai once..took alot of jaw control Cindy in Australia misses seeing her on tour what would she say to fans around the world...come to america...but just kidding...w/o massive record company support very hard to tour internationally

anything we can do to help promote? Jen said these are tough times at A&M but can do word of mouth and call radio stations...

? about constant criticism of being a christian and analyzed...amy doesn't think about it would make her too insecure...

how do you do your hair? blow it dry...tease the roots..and put it up in a sloppy "up do" until showtime then straighten it...no products..total hair prep time from wet to dry is 12 min...

what age did Amy accept Jesus and was baptized? 1973 sunday night at west end church of christ was baptized...believed in Jesus for a long time but that was night she walked the aisle...

asked about end of simple things epk said the phrase "this is only the beginnning"...elaborate on beginning? she said was a catchy marketing phrase..making music continually life experience...maybe that just meant, despite A&M, more music to come

what kind of artwork do you like?today Vince and her went to an art store...bought a book about drawing, some pencils, 3 erasers and a sketch pad a wooden figure to learn to draw the human form like Sue Johannsen uses on her sex show only she has one and not two..its' time to start writing for the next record and she's trying to trick her brain and get the creative juices flowing...w/o feeling pressure to do something good...

memorable experience touring? might be something happens in hotel lobby...unexpected conversation...or something unrelated to music...like sunny day in chicago when spontaneously rented bikes and went along shore of lake michigan...or a conversation w/ a kid...

Amy said A&M is restricting us from promoting another single to mainstream radio...feels like being lost in a black hole...

filming imagine tour every night...til get better relation w/ mainstream record company so no dvd...most are sold in mainstream ...target, walmart...and only have word so couldn't be put it in mass market...

record companies are regrouping due to massive downloading of music...next chat Amy wants to share reaction to "The Passion" movie
