Amy was asked if she got everything she wanted for Christmas. She responded that she got time with her family and that Vince and her built a front porch as a gift to each other.

Asked about the Imagine tour, she said Bebo Norman will probably sing 30 min, Amy performing 45 min, and MercyMe performing about 1hr 15min. This is MercyMe's 1st chance to headline a tour.

Asked how it felt to know so many have been saved through her music..then she talked about when she hears stories connecting her music with eternal ramifications.

Talked about the large amount of people that Amy has met backstage this year. She would finish a show at 10:30pm...get to green room 10:50pm and meet people til 1am...she said it was possibly 150 people a night for 23 Christmas shows that Vince and her met.

Will there be a simple things tour? As of right now, MercyMe tour IS simple things tour so far...no more spring dates but possibly summer/early fall dates.

Amy talked about a new artist who's voice affected her deeply ...Beth Dillon...she is 15..new on Sparrow Records and writes her own songs.

best/worst/funny stories about touring....vomiting virus going through the members of the band on tour...lack of sleep when the kids were little and interviews that felt a little too nosey were bad parts but whole experience has been very rich according to Amy

Asked about makeup products used on tour...she uses MAC products...usually takes a makeup artist on tour but for this year's Christmas tour she did her own...can be ready for a show in 1 hr 15min from shower to makeup.

next single ??? Beautiful was on soundtrack for "Autumn in New York" w/ Richard Gere so can't be next single

Management has been working to have Curb Records promote a new single to mainstream instead of A&M...deal completed this week Happy...Looking For You...After the Fire...Beautiful being consider... word has "Out in the Open" to christian stations now.

No plans for a dvd of music videos/concert footage...Amy is not in that ..mostly talk by mgmt/label but nothing developing...

talked about Christianity and different spiritual world views...she's wondered if being brought up in different part of world would change her spiritual views...she knows the reality of "you did not choose me;I chose you" a scripture she paraphased that she knows to be true.

Amy was asked most intriguing lesson God has taught you?
she didn't know how to answer....

She learned thru Vince, children that she is not in control....
that if she is worrying, she's not praying...
that if she is praying, she's not worrying...
learned we are all connected in a beautiful way as we have been so beautifully loved

her heart is in a season of spring...if she looked radiant on the Christmas tour...because this is the most beautiful stretch of life she has known...

would she consider doing another movie?
talked about Faith Hill raving about exp of making Stepford Wives...and knowing what she meant but at this time she can not sacrifice all the time away from the rest of her life...

tonight she made supper...too much supper ..called around to family to see if they needed supper...sister mimi and hubby jerry sat and laughed...sarah played a song on her bass...made home movies...scared Corrina with their "Bubba Teeth"...danced and now chating...cant' imagine trading all this in for 3 mos in a trailor on location...

asked about bible studies...she doesn't do them with her kids...may occassionally read them something...reads Corrina stories from bible...teenages and preteen are at unique age...can't make them be close to God...

she prays for them that God will in his time move toward them and they'll respond...

what type of album do you see the next on being? will discover that as songs are wrote...probably combo of both CCM and mainstream...real issue is direction of production...loves simplicity of Legacy
