Rock of ages ?? what to know where touring and what most excited about regarding the release?
Amy-don't think there's actual going to be a tour for Rock of Ages...trying to figure out how to maximize my time away from home...have a contract in the works with one of the tv networks...can't have any public discussion until we've signed...

talking w/ other labels about future projects in Nov chat...any more info on that?
Amy-let me back track..no tour does not mean no concert dates..they will just be scattered one offs...without radio support it's hard to pull off a major tour...recording hymns is not the juice that runs a big radio career...hopefully next album of new songs will provide some heat..

share w/ us your travel schedule when you do concerts?
Amy- rent a tour bus, corrina usually goes with me

any reflections on Women of Faith conferences...did you attend any of the sessions?
Amy-last month, attended 2 women of faith conferences...only able to attend one full day each weekend...never expected to laugh so much...or to cry so much..a definite estrogen fest...mostly influenced by max lucado and jeffifer rothschild

Any plans to record Give Me Jesus for Amy and Vince on an upcoming album?
Amy-Vince plans to record it on his next record

how are you coming along with your yoga classes and have you been able to convince vince as well?
Amy-got the mat & the blocks for christmas and have only done 2 sessions since the holidays...however...my new regine is 15 min workouts hopefully 4 or 5 in a day...

How do you celebrate easter with the kids and Vince?
Amy-we usually have a big family lunch at our house...an egg hunt...and the infamous raw egg toss..all of this follows a grand celebration at church...fav easter memories include my father's words to family just before pre-meal prayer

any unreleased songs streamed on this site like discussed in prev chat and if possible to post christmas photos you talked about?
Amy- I guess I dropped the ball on that one!..did find the christmas morning picture of the kids from last year..asks nan to help her post it..asks jennifer to jump in..
From Jen-we are talking about streaming some previously unreleased songs..right now marketing plans and putting the finishing touches on rock of ages is taking a lot of time...as well as a few other things we are working on..but have not forgotten about FOA desire to hear Amy's unreleased stuff from the past..try to get some songs up in the next 30-60 days..

Vince added some golfing greens around the house...do u get a chance to enjoy some putting around the house as well and is corrina learning how to putt?
Amy-vince put in an astro-turf type green last year...his friends were amazed that it didn't bother me to have it in the front yard...its a magnet for neighbors and kids

do you have any advice for someone who is just starting out? asked by afterthefire43 whom is 15 plays guitar and writes songs
Amy- do you ever play out erin? yes

Jen- Amy's computer is frozen right now so she is telling me what to type over the phone...usually at her house, but tonight I'm at home...
from Amy-people's response is a good gage for a good song and good melody..more you do it the better you will get...

which one of your kids is like you in personality?
Amy- Sarah

do you plan to make seaside an annual event?
Amy-seaside great experience and we're committed to it again this year..don't know about future years...may recommend another artist...it sure is a great excuse to go to the beach

what is the most romantic thing vince has done for you in the past year?
Amy-wow, let me think...well tomorrow is our 5th anniversary...trying to think of an example that would wow everybody...fact is it's his natural disposition of not being in a hurry that makes normal daily life seem very special...we're happily married...all roads lead to rome...

Amy-taco soup with crumbled ships shredded cheese and a dallop of sour cream...two servings

what is corrina's favorite book to read right now?
Amy-she has so many..a few mos ago for sanity sake, she started having book time before bed..i mean like alone book time..she thinks its her homework like her big brother and sisters...then i join her for some of these...the napping house..hey god where are you?...goodnight gorilla...curious george makes pancakes...

in old interviews looked like more guarded in what you say and not more free and candid...what has been the catalyst for that?
Amy-think i feel more comfortable in my own skin..don't have anything to hide..at 44 what have you got to lose?

how do you balance your family life with glamorous side as a major star?
Amy-whatever the perception of the glamourous side of your life might be...i drive a carpool...cook dinner...spend time with family...all the basic things that everybody else does..i just do something else on the side...

would like to know about contract with Word and what to expect after Rock of Ages release?
Amy-have another record on my contract...a release with all new songs..i don't have any plans to leave Word...we've had a great relationship.

got a favorite lipstick color?
Amy-i love those stay-on lip products that are so popular...i think its covergirl..i think the gloss runs out before the lip color is gone..great sales technique..about lip color..i find mixing the wet lipsticks makes almost every color usable..

Amy-I don't know if we will be at the cma's

what type of horse do you have?
amy-i have a spotted saddle horse...his name is cherokee..he is almost 16 hands high, still growing..

how old is he?
amy-he'll be 5 in may

Amy-thank you for all the prayers for my dad...he is finished w his radiation treatment...later this month he will have radium seed implants...that should be the end of his treatment..on another note...i know a lot of you have been praying for wes king...we are old friends..he married a dear friend of mine, gary and i introduced them..please keep him in your prayers over the next 6 months..he'll be undergoing a very intensive chemotherapy treatment..we have every reason to believe in a positive outcome...but its no secret that prayer affects so much more than we understand..hope everybody has a good night ...sweet dreams to my web of friends..
