highlight of Gospel Music Association week.. Vince and her played round of golf at FCA fundraiser today... Sun night worship service at Ryman 1 highlight...monday night vince & her invited friends over to play volleyball it turned into a guitar pull..met great people all week..one a woman from California had lunch with (that was Debbie from FOA whom won an auction through Communities in Schools)

where did u get your comedic timing? if have timing, pleasant surprise to her..Vince is very funny...married before to Gary Chapman who was very funny..by comparison, she's alwasy felt like the straight man...

parents and extented family, how are they? mom and dad are slowing down, all extended family doing well, spreading out across the country... about once a month sunday dinners with the family

details of concert in WI on 13th aug, will be only one, will FOA passes work? Kohler, WI date is part of the PGA golf Tournament..in outdoor park don't know if FOA passes will work...

What part of the Passion of the Christ affected you? she has not seen a finished version of the movie...vince & her saw a rough cut that she assumed with the whole thing...very powerful...fav things were the portrayal of Jesus' mother, her mother's love, 2nd thing was when Jesus said Behold, I make all things New..was so broken in that moment...

any mother's day plans? Millie has a dance recital..go to church in the morning...anyone need mother's day gift...her college roommate Jeannie DuBose wrote book called the mother Daughter Dance...reads like children book but very deep and moving about 10 min read..bought 20 copies to give to mom, sisters, Vince's mom, good friends, etc

flydaucer responded dance teacher and amy asked what kind of dance do u teach? flydancer..ballet, jazz, tap, modern, 14 yr old Millie takes 3 dances lessons a week ballet, jazz, and hip hop..is her soul food/not a hobby... wondered feature a dance during Breath of heaven...one Christmas show in Nashville did feature an interpretive dance of Breath of Heaven

any plans to tour on west coast? Vince and her are doing a run of canadian dates in late Sept..manage company and agent are looking at a 2-3 wk run of dates up the west coast either before or after canada dates..speakin of Vince..one of Amy's fave things he is doing this summer is Eric Clapton event in Dallas June 3rd..event benefites a drug rehab ctr..one of her nephew's old girlfriends' brother was treated there

how involved are u in the production side of your recording? none of that..instrumentation maybe..by time she's chosen clothes for the day pretty much maxed out her magement skills..that's why producer choice is so important..next record with be a little less poppy and probably a little more americana sounding

ask ?? to your producer/engineer..amy good luck getting a return call..1 of several artists they work with people send amy songs all the time...

asked ?? about food..amy said food a fav subject most wonderful meal..what was it/who with...etc duck liver pate at 4 season hotel in Singapor on 36th birthday w/ good friend Beverly..wasnt really pate more like a poacehd duck liver and it exploded ont he palate..could spend the rest of the chat on food..asked rrw2674 specialty?doesn't have one yet.. enjoys making fresh pasta mother suaces..amy don't over salt..amy said makes mean smoked salmon..after the chat will post a fav salmon recipe..

??? if vince & her have a fav cartoon..amy doesn't really watch cartoons..ren and stimpy used to be one of vince and jenny's fav...for Christmas last yr, jenny gave him a collection of the shows on dvd ...they laughed... Jenny turns 22 on Wed..

??about animals and pets currently have? have 2 dogs mutt named Chester and miniature dachsund named Skittle..3 horses, a few dead earth worms, earth worms are Corrina's latest craze.. should write a bk 101 things to do with earth worms..

any songs not on Legacy and have there ever been songs meant for one project later to show up on another? helping hand from HOL was written during making of HIM but she saved it... Do you remember the time from legacy was written for the Simple things project...after the fire was written during BTE but not recorded until Simple things..thanks to Jill (this is ME!) I now have a copy of the Wallet song...maybe will appear on a project...

Klaus, walked in walk for education...in Virginia handed her a cd called Hands/haede..ever have time to listen to it? several months ago so I can't remember it very well..sounds like an excuse but listen to new music all the time..was given 6 cds this wk..

?? about doing another phone tag for FOA site amy said what's a phone tag? klaus tells leaving a message that is placed on the internet for FOA..jen is reminding Amy now..will try to put a new one on soon

planning to join Michael W. Smith on his one nation tour? Amy said no, not this time.. ??anymore tour dates scheduled for this summer? not currently in the works

??would like to have FOA throw you a party in your honor w/ proceeds going to charity of your choice..Amy said...heard there was going to be a summer party happening..dasha told me about it..not a benefit just a get together at a lake house or something...just have fun w/ each other...if you want to give gift to charity in her honor, you know what she supports..

when was your first kiss? amy...open mouth? was in 7th grade 1st time a boy really kissed me..she saw this boy the other day in a coffee shop here in Nashville..he flew fighter jets and served time overseas in Iraq..had a great coversation..kiss was never mentioned...life goes on..

surprise reporter..stinsowm.. no response...grantluver is up.. not ready for this ..how does this work?amy says no pressure to be brilliant..cant believe actually talking to amy.. amy..corrina is crawling on my back..no she just corrected amy..she is not crawling on me..she is just loving on me.. grantluver..thank amy for helping her during the death of her father..music helped her so much... amy says any time would be a hard time to lose a father..can not imagine losing a father at 9..hope you found companionship in my songs.. ?? has it been hard to combine your family and what has helped you make your family stronger? her 3 older children relate to Vince as a friend..each in their own way...Vince is respectful of their relationship w/ their dad.. he lets them come on their own terms..she tought we would feel more like the brady bunch than they do..but everybody has really found a very honest & comfortable place to be themselves

???do u relate well w/ Jenny..amy said funny you should ask.. sarah, corrina, and I spent Sun afternoon helping Jenny w/ a research project for a college paper..it had to be on a historic site somewhere in Tenn..we visited Carnton Plantation..the site of the battle of Franklin..she was calling Amy late last nt w/ the first paragraph of her paper...Jenny is smart as a whip..also has a mom that loves her very much..

where do u see yourself careerwise in the next 10 yrs.. amy said songwriting...songwriting..songwriting... love performing but imagine less production..more pared down...did a benefit friday night at the Factory in Franklin..one woman was there from out of town...had been to 20 shows before...liked this one the best..zero production..go figure..
