Word Records� multi-Platinum and GRAMMY Award-winning singer and songwriter Amy Grant has announced the release of her twentieth album, Rock of Ages�Hymns & Faith, on May 3. The project follows the recent Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold certification of Grant�s first hymns project, Legacy�Hymns & Faith, marking sales in excess of 500,000 units.

Produced by Vince Gill and Brown Bannister, Rock of Ages�Hymns & Faith contains twelve classic hymns and worship songs, including a �Rock of Ages� duet with Gill, along with a newly recorded version �El Shaddai,� which was named �A Song of the Century� by the RIAA in 2001.

�It�s not worth making a record unless you�ve really got something to say,� said Grant. �If I have albums to make and creative energy to do it, I want to create something timeless, and these songs have stood the test of time.�

In addition to extensive radio and retail promotion, Grant�s Rock of Ages� Hymns & Faith will be supported by appearances on national mainstream shows coupled with extensive print exposure. The project is already receiving widespread media coverage with Grant recently featured on the cover of March�s CCM Magazine along with being scheduled as the cover artist for the magazine�s June issue. She also recently performed to enthusiastic standing ovations at two sold-out Women of Faith conferences, leading Women of Faith president Mary Graham to comment, �Not surprisingly, having Amy Grant at our Women of Faith events delighted the hearts of the entire audience. Additionally, her work has been honored with five GRAMMY Awards, twenty-four Dove Awards and many other accolades, including being nominated into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2003.
