Because the Silver Fang Tribe has recently fell into inbreeding in order to keep its numbers up, many Fang Garou are falling into the Tribe's Madness. The impure blood that courses through our veins affects each Fang differently. These....characteristics are called Derangements.
Amnesia:
The garou has this terrible habit of forgetting things, most
especially in stressful or traumatic situations.
Ennui:
This Fang tends to bore really easily. Little fazes them,
even intense emotions or events.
Intellectualization:
This derangement causes the garou to analyze most things, blocking
out their emotions. When supernatural events occur that cannot be
easily rationalized away, this fang could easily lose control and frenzy.
Isolation:
A garou suffering from this characteristic distances herself
away from her companions, and may even cease communicating with packmembers.
Manic-Depression
This garou suffers from terrible mood-swings, ranging from
utter bliss to complete despair.
Mulitiple Personalities:
This Fang has a number of personalities that can surface
during stressful situations. These personalities may behave completely
differently, as if the garou belongs in a different auspice or tribe.
Many have compassion for garou suffering this derangement, because it
is seen as a sign of Luna's Touch.
Obsession:
This Fang latches onto something or someone, and this object
becomes a focal point for their life.
Paranoia:
The Garou sees the Wyrm's influence everywhere, in everything.
They wonder why no one else sees all the corruption encompassing them
and grow wary of others.
Perfection:
The perfectionist works hard to ensure that his life is
precise in all ways. When something goes wrong, or not as expected the
garou is in danger of frenzying.
Power Madness:
This derangement causes the Fang to seek control and dominance
over others.
Regression:
During times of stress or extreme emotion, this Fang tends
to revert to childlike behaviour.
Vengeful:
This Garou becomes obsessed with righting a "wrong" that has
been done to them.
