The pipes on this page and in the bargain page have been smoked before. When we get them, they are cleaned, reamed, and boiled out with alcohol. If they meet our standards, we will buff, polish and apply a coat of carnuba wax. I know it's nice to be able to go into a tobacco shop and hold and look at a pipe before purchase, however not many tobacconist are carrying estate pipes. Therefor I unconditionally guarantee any pipe I sell.
