Here I go smokin' out them BFGs!!

This is my ride.  My 1995 Black Camaro Z28.As you can see from up above, I like to have a little fun every now and then.    My mods list include:

Here are more pics of this beauty:

Sometimes I get confused as to what mods I will get for it.  My next mods could be some headers, new sparkplugs and wires, MSD ignition coil, and then a suttle whining noise from under my hood?  Hmm.....

You're probably asking yourself  why I got a domestic if I'm so into the whole import scene?  Well, it's a tough decision for me to make but the big clincher comes down to the engine.   For those who have not had the opportunity to literally feel the rumble of a V8 engine, suggest that you head down to your local Chevy dealer and cheggit out for yourself.  In my honest opinion, the rumble of a V8 sounds so much better than a 4-cylinder VTEC engine. No matter how much you fix the engine up, the feel and sound is of no comparison to the V8. There's no doubt about that.  The other is the driving experience.  Somehow, I "fit" better in a Camaro than I do with imports.

Some people call me a "traitor" or a "sell out" because I got my C A M A R O   Z 2 8.  For those who think that is the case, then go ahead.  But I'm confident in the fact that I find pride in my own car and I enjoy driving my car.  There are some people who drive imports because "their friends drive imports too."  And I personally think that is a dumb argument.  All I have to say is do what makes you happy.   Sure, I get the cold shoulder looks and the death stares from other ricers out there.  Is it because I'm supposed to be in an import just for the mere fact that I'm Asian?  Sorry...it doesn't work like that.  Do what makes you happy and you won't regret it one bit.   As much as I like the whole scene with all the imports around me, I do not regret ONE BIT about getting my C A M A R O   Z 2 8.   And for those of you who are trying to change my mind, it's not working....bwahahaha.

But definitely, I try to learn as much as I can about my car.  A magazine that I subscribe to is GM High-Tech Performance.   Another place that is a haven to me is the CamaroZ28.com Ultimate Bulletin Board site.   Not only do I get to learn more about my car, I got to meet some fellow F-body people!!  And if you know me as well as I do, I tend to have a heavy foot...and with a 5.7 liter engine behind all that, it's nice to know a few things from the Mobile Scanner & Radar Detector Laws site.
