Hot Import Nights

This has got to be one of the best car shows I've gone to this year.  Held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, Wild 94.9 hosted this event right from the very start.  It's about time something as fun as Hot Import Nights came around.  When I first arrived at Hot Import Nights, there was still some light left from the sun.  But once the darkness of the sky came out, all sorts of lights were turned on.  Light displays, laser shows, even little neon lights were sold.

This time, I saw a lot of newer cars that I have not seen in the past shows.  It made it different from the others.  There were three cages set up in various places on the Fairgrounds...so trying to cover all three cages was extremely difficult.  Concert showings included Daisey and M:G.   The booty contest was a "so-so" because of the lack of participation but nonetheless, it was still worthy enough to be taped..hehe.  As soon as all the shows ended, St. John rocked the place...which caused Hot Import Nights to become an outdoor club. 

Criticisms?  Not much actually...the cars were spaced out very well.  I had a hard time filming and taking pictures in the dark...mainly because I have never encountered a problem of filming in darkness.  So this was also a first for me...since the other shows were during daytime.  I think the hardest part for me was to deal with the reflection off of some people's eyes...which made them look like they have reflective eyes like that of a dog or cat.  Security seemed a little loose though.  We were all able to walk in after buying the tickets without being searched or run through with a metal detector.  And not to mention that after the concerts, people broke through the barricades to get a hold of some free stuff that was in a large box.  It was still a "peaceful" event...but all in all, I think that this has got to be one the top 3 shows that I have been to.
