| On 19 Oct 98, the power tour stopped in Gaithersburg, Maryland and yours truly had a front row seat. It was quite a site. We got to the fair ground around 3:30 PM and the fair ground was filled with several brightly colored 18 wheelers belonging to corporate sponsors including Classic Chevy Int'l, Hot Rod magazine, Holley, BF Goodrich, and Edelbrock to name a few. Of course Classic Chevy was showing off that beautiful '57 Bel Air Giveaway Car | ||

CCI's experts did a great job on the entire car...it is a true showcase of the possbilities you can achieve with the numerous products available for the Classic Chevys...!! And they are going to give it away...!! |

The engine bay holds a true work of art!! ...lots of pricey billet, A/C, and disk brake power booster
|
||

We even got to hear the yellow Bel Air roar to life and watch it drive around the fair ground... after all, thisis a cruise! It has a great stance with 17" Billet wheels (big bucks $$), flawless paint job, andlots of billet in the cockpit!! |

.... There was ahuge selection of hot rods making
the cruise! Naturally, I gravitated to the Classic Chevys. This
very sharp gray '57 Bel Air with California tags was looking fine and caught
my eye! It had a cleaned hood, no scripts and shaved rockets, four
wheel disk brakes, a sweet and low stance, with a very clean interior.
Unfortunately, the driver had the hood down so we couldn't peak at the power
plant. |
