Well, the time had finally arrived to transport Project '57 down to the famous
restoration expert Chuck Miller from Greenville, SC. We rented a trailer
from U-Haul and loaded up the engine-less '57. Our driveway slants
toward the street making this a relatively easy job.
"Come on honey, push!" |
Our intent is to have Chuck paint the body and we'll bring the '57 back home
for engine and glass installation, mounting theinner fenders, and
resumption of the project. So, we loaded the back of the Grand Cherokee
with the myriad of small parts that must be painted body color.
Note: This picture shows air vents, fresh air tubes, heater motor,
splash pans, battery box, speedometer housing, and steering column. |

Chuck's shop contains a show room full of neat memorabilia, his awesome
collection of '60's Mopar Muscle Cars, and various project cars. He
also has several cars in various automotive museums throughout
thesoutheast!

convertible on the right and a beautiful old T-bird on the left. |
