Mine is lowered 3", shaved, flattened endgate with roll pan & box cover. 350 block (with crank & rods it works out to 302ci) Bright red with light tan interior. I also changed to a one peice driveshaft(best thing I ever did) Lots of other updates. Future
lans include fuel injection. This is the 4th 67-72 chevy that I've had and it's great to find a site like this and see what other guys are driving.

I presently own a GMC C15 LWB fleetside which I think is maybe a camper special. The truck has small steps like saddle stirrups in the bed and I think they may have been an option on this model.
The truck came with factory air, power brakes and steering,automatic transmission,350 V-8 and heavy duty suspension. It has new paint and is totally original.

I've had a 1957 Chevy Panel 3100 (complete running truck, that I bought
a 56 Suburban body for) for about 7 years, I plan on installing a 454 in
it. I've recently taken the panel body off the frame and had a guy
install a Camaro front sub-frame, which is a 1/4" cocked to the right
and 1/8" high on one side. My question to you is: will this still work
for me?? or is the truck going to drive down the street sideways?? also
I plan on installing a Ford 9" rearend with the help of a friend. If you
can give any info I.E. WIDTH, problems or installation secrets I'd
really appreciate it. Oh-yah I have the complete Engine and rearend out
of my Panel truck. If you are interested or have Info for me please

I love my chevy truck, I completed a frame off restoration last year. My truck is completely stock from the 454 to the trailering package. The only think not stock is the exhaust system and fuel cells. I love it because it is rare ( 454 with short bed
- called a "trailering special" 13,000 GCW) There is no substitue for cubic inches. Keep those chevy's on the road. I love to see the old ones still runnin strong. thanks

I had a 1951 chevy 1/2 ton pickup that I spent 11 years working on. The day I got it all finished and put back together after painting it at my freinds shop the night mare happend. I was driving it home and it caught fire. There was a bad fule line connec
ion and the gas sprayed on the exhast manifold. This happend 2 1/2 years ago. One day sone I hope to find another 50's classic and start all over agin. Like your site wish there was more like it.
