MKIV Supra breaks styling-wise the Supra traditions. The JZ series engines have many improvements compared to the 7M of MKIII, that improve power output, reliability and thanks to its shorter stroke and fully balanced crankshaft, it can rev quite a bit higher... the 1JZ is a true screamer in this respect. Since the MKIII was critisized for being a big, heavy whale for a sports car, Toyota made the MKIV lighter, and left a lot of the small luxuries out. For those who preferred more luxury, there was now the Lexus line, especially SC (Soarer) which is more alike to MKIII Supra. The MKIV is a true sports car, running 0-100km/h in under 5 seconds and 1/4 mile in mid 13's. It's handling is great, from the factory!
