Celica 1982-1985: *A6* series

Two body styles, liftback and coupe. Some models with fender flares. A convertible also exists for the US market, made by ASC for Toyota (using the coupe version). Rear suspension by semi-trailing arms IRS, or live axle with panhard rod and coil springs. Front brakes disk, some cooled. Rear brakes disk or drum. Rack and pinion steering, and front McPherson suspension on all models. Some models with power steering. Nose change was done in 1983.
