One of my mates, JASON (same as my
name) from Cambelltown NSW owns this wild 1964
Cooper, which has been a four-year build-up. Some of the specs includes a turbocharged
115hp engine, 13-inch Superlites, adjustible suspension, power windows, Clubman doors,
oversize flares and detailed subframes.

Natually it was unregistered and the one-litre engine and driveline were totally clapped out, but it was complete nonetheless. This guy has planned to use the car as a cheap runaround. Ten years later it doesn't fit the description "CHEAP" any more.
Only by looking at the shiny engine bay and the hi-tech custom interior, the next question you'll ask is whether he won Lotto or robbed the bank...

?This one has chopped everything off, even the windscreen.
But I'm sure it'll be fun when you cruise around.

Individual, yet with a lot of similarities, the pair turn heads at every outing. The interior enhancements include personally designed seats, soft illumination, handcrafted dash overhead and centre console. While he isn't sure of the enine's internals, he makes sure nobody forgets what it looks like externally.

The interior is the owner's design and follows the theme of dribbling paint. The seats were made at the local automotive trade school.

The owner of this car spent over AUD$18k to his Mini Panel Van. But it wasn't a difficult task for him because his sons are mechanics and panel beater...... so the rest he had to do was only to design the colour of the engine bay......
He had won lots of trophies since the car had rebuilt.....
