UPDATES:
March 30, 1999:
Purchased new tires, the Nitto NT450 Extreme Performance. They're 225/50/16VR's and handle really well. A big upgrade from my old Falkens.
March 27, 1999:
Install added to www.sounddomain.com database. Placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th while in the "New Installs
Top 5 Poll."
January 10, 1999:
I got the Supra back, runs better and has better fuel economy since the head gasket has been replaced... whadda ya know? :P
January 2, 1999:
DOH! Blown head gasket, so the car is in the shop for a few. This is a known problem with Supras, so I guess I'll have to
deal with it.
December 10, 1998:
The install has been complete and I have the car back from Custom Audio Designs. They did an excellent job, and it turned out great. The high-end's imaging is nice and the low-end sounds great. Due to me having to use the McIntosh and Dynaudio crossovers, the speakers could be crossed over better. To handle this I plan on purchasing the Linear Power XO3, and in addition the PA2 EQ. These will be installed next summer. Anywho, check out the installation pics for a visual explanation of the install.
November 7, 1998:
The installation has begun, starting with the wiring, head unit install, and sub box/amp rack. In a few days the kicks, doors, and trim panels and details will be added.
November 4, 1998:
I took the Supra in to Custom Audio Designs  in Ft. Worth, TX for the install. Scott Saunders sat down and discussed system ideas, etc. with me and we came up with how the install should go.
July 29, 1998:
Decisions on equipment have been made. I decided to go with Dynaudio 3-way components up front, IDQ subs, Alpine head unit, McIntosh amplification, all Stinger wiring/caps/acessories. At this time I began the Dynamatting of the hatch, floor, and area under the rear seats. I sure am glad that is over with and I hope I don't have to do it again for a while. :P
April 4, 1998:
Well, today I purchased a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo. Looks nice and runs well, can't wait to get the system going.
