I was never legally adopted.My mother didn't wantto give me up but she could barely take care of herself much less a 1 yr.old baby.I was born on June 3,1957 & she had another baby girl named Carla June Chase on May 14,1959 and gave her to the same people yrs. later. I have been searching for my birthmother for some time now. I know that she is from a New England State and came to Florida to have me. I was born in Hollywood Memorial Hospital and adopted at birth. From the information that I have gained, my birth mothe was doing clerical work at the time of her pregnancy and that my birth father was either in the marines or navy and had left for duty during my birthmothers pregnancy. I am from the Irish and Finnish decent from my birth parents and believe that my birth others father was a bartender at that time. I think Lancaster, PA is probably where my birth family is from because Moravians and Menonites intermarry there. My brother is 4 years my senior, and my sister is 2 years my senior. They couldn't afford to keep me, especially with my birth mother being so ill from some sort of "bone marrow disease." I was put up for adoption right from the hospital in Wilmington, DE.
