1989 SA25 Highlights

rear wheel arches, better-integrated NACA ducts

- Use of molded composite exterior body panels : lighter, more
precise fit for intakes, front fender molding, trunk lid, and
engine cover
- Body-color front bumpers, better-integrated rear bumpers
- Body-color side mirrors
Mechanicals

water pump

The Countach's eventual successor, the Diablo, had to deal with
a changing automotive world. Fuel economy, emissions and safety
regulations, as well as improved technologies, materials and
manufacturing methods have forever altered the supercar
landscape.
The Countach will always be an utter contradiction: an awesome,
stunning, entirely useless, absolutely incredible
racer-for-the-road. It was a futuristic machine built the
old-fashioned way, and it will be a long time before a car has a
greater impact on the world.
