My 1991 Daytona
I never wanted to get into this contest in the first place, but ever since Mike got his new car, he thinks he owns the greatest car ever made. Now, I paid less money for my car, and got about 50,000 less miles. I don't think my car is all that, but I think I got the best deal. It didn't break my bank, and it's got a lot of power. I hope maybe to get some track times for it this summer. My car originally came from somewhere in Illinois, where the original owner crashed it. The car was totaled and it sat until it was bought and repaired by a former Chrysler employee. He sold the car through a dealership to me. The car has a 3.0 liter V-6 and only has 38,000 miles on it. It has power steering, brakes, and locks. It has red interior and a sunroof. Notice I have aluminum wheels also. It came to me with the original Chrysler cassette deck, which I replaced with a Alpine CD player. I also put some Kenwood 3 1/2's in the dash (the openings were for the premium sound system, which my car didn't have). Later on I added 2 Kenwood 8's, some new Pioneer 5x7's and a Jenson amp. I left the factory 5 1/4 speakers in for now. I'm far from done, but I've run out of money for the moment. My next purchase will be a nice four channel amp to power my box seperately.
