The Great Cap Rack!
Lets face it, the battery in a car is the most basic starting principle of the automobile. Without it, you wouldn't be able to start your car, let alone your stereo. Naturally, you stereo needs juice to get going and stay going, so like Tim "the tool man" Taylor, we must juice up our juice. Since you can't really do anything drastic to the electrical system to get it going better, you have to help it out a bit. In the car audio industry, this can be done by adding some things called capacitors, or "caps". These typically allways cylinder shaped containers hold power until your amp(s) need it. Your power wire taken from the battery is simply attached to this unit along with a ground connection and off to a distribution block or the amp dirctly. Now, when the stereo hits a deep bass hit, you have the power to get the most out of it.
