- My 1973 Guzzi V7
Sport pictures are pre restoration (black) and after
restoration (Green)
- It's a 750cc Pushrod
90 º 'V' Twin, aircooled with chrome cylinder liners.
- I imported it from
Alessandro in Italy on 12th December 1996 - it has had 2
Previous Owners and has done about 160,000 kM (100,000
miles.)
- Dyno tested on
19/01/98with 47 BHP at 114 MPH in 4th Gear, it does
185-195kph (116-122mph) depending if i'm running aviation
fuel mixed with the 91 octane unleaded (for valve lube).
- The only thing thats
not original specification are the tyres, oil and the
battery. It weighs about 225kG or 500lbs it's rock steady
with fantastic handling and will sit all day at 140kph
eating miles effortlessly.
-
- The most accurate
description i have ever heard of this bike is
"It's a Racing Rhino" - 1972 MCN
- and
that.............. is just exactly what it feels like.
