My family and I live in the "Northwest" suburbs of Chicago. This is my wife's hometown area, but I am actually a native Californian, hailing from Burbank. |

I am a computer software trainer, currently specializing in the dreaded Year2000. My area of expertise is mainframes, especially COBOL, but I have been known to dabble a bit with the PC...
My "love affair" with Imperials goes back to my childhood in Burbank, where my father bought his first Imperial, a 1960 Crown 4-door hardtop. Since then, my family and I have owned several of these wonderful automobiles, up through a 1974. |

If you have driven one, you already know the answer - if not, you should grab at the chance if it comes along. These were the finest luxury cars produced, surpassing those offered by the other guys; unfortunately, not enough people took the chance to find out, sticking with the "big guys".
I urge you to take a look around this site and see what beautiful cars these were - and send any comments you might have my way. I'd be delighted to take a look at them!
Also, please visit the linked sites I have for the Imperial - there's a wealth of information out there... |

As stated before, I make a living with computers. Currently I teach and write training material, occasionally dabbling with programming to keep my skills up to speed. Additionally, I work with PC's and their technology, including messing with this internet stuff.
Take a look at the computer information posted here and let me know if you'd like more - I'll do what I can do get it online. |
