1989 Plymouth Voyager

The whole concept of a Minivan sounded wonderful, with one kid recently arrived and another on the way, plus a large dog.  We'd be able to go anywhere and haul all our junk along.  This was cetrtainly true,  even when we expanded to three kids,  but not quite so possible when we accumulated another two large dogs.

We had major expense just keeping the damn car on the road.  I know we had to have the air conditioning system replaced at least twice and other major components seemed to break regularly.  The final straw camewhen I was collecting it from *another* repair job and I walked in to the cashiers office and she looked up with a smile and said "Hello Robin,  is your car back in here again?".  I figured if the cashier knew me by my first name, I was spending way too much time (and money) at that particular establishment and that the car just had to go.  So it did.....
