Rodtech manufactures and supplies a wide variety of parts and services such as 9" diff conversions, axle and housing modifications, Chev & XF Falcon disc conversions and street rod chassis hardware to many other automotive businesses around the country. New products now on sale from Rodtech include repro model 'A' chassis (with SA approved rear kick-up), and V-shaped '32 Ford spreader bar and overflow tanks. As well as manufacturing, Rodtech are dealer's for Lokar, Vintique, Mooneyes, Deuce Factory, Aldon Shocks, and others. They can supply headlights, taillights, radiator, gauges etc right down to a 'Ratfink' decal to finish your rod.
Rodtech proprietor, Rod Collins, first became involved in street rodding in 1972, as a member of SA Rod & Custom Club when he built his first rod, an 'A' model roadster. By 1975 Rod's interest was expanded to later model cars, so he left the club. Through this period, Rod kept his 'A', and his Flathead powered '33 sedan. As time went by, Rod had to sell the rods to make way for other projects and equipment needed to do diff conversions and manufacture of street rod components. In 1984, Rodtech was set up as a part-time workshop at the current site at 192 Hampstead Rd, Clearview. The business expanded slowly, until 1990, when they went full-time. The business has continued to expand and produce new products regularly, now employing Rod, wife Shayne, Robert Collins, Robbie Stewart, and Kym Walkin.
No matter where you are from, for just about anything you need, give Rod or Shayne a call on (08) 8262 3230, and they will be pleased to assist you. Remember, RODTECH are only a phone call away.
