Bob has been actively involved in all aspects of rodding since organised hot rodding started in NSW. Some of the rodding bodies Bob has been involved with are: NSW Hot Rod Assoc, Aust. Hot Rod Federation, Aust. Street Rod Federation (was the 1st State Director for NSW and held the position for many years), instigator of the Rickshaws Hot Rod Show (1964), Show Manager of 30 Rickshaws shows/2 Taree shows/2 Yennora shows (Sydney '79-'80), committee member of 6 Nationals events, ASPA rep to ASRF for many years, club rep to NSW DC for over 20 years. Only original Rickshaws member (36 years), honorary member of Dragens. Instigator of the original and very successful MAD (Motorists Appreciation Day) in the Hunter (14 years coming up).
Bob drag raced at Castlereagh with "Rickshaw 1" dragster. His hot rod "Little Truck", a 1928 Chev closed cab pick-up, Chrysler powered, is at present going through a total rebuild after 20 years.
With his varied experience in the sport Bob is well placed to understand the needs of rodders.
