This is a brand new 32 roadster kit that is based on many of the parts used in the 3 Window and Speedwagon kits.
The body is a very crisply moulded item, but Im of the opinion that this is a little bit wrong in the cowl. The bonnet sides feature 3 rows of louvers.
The Chassis truly depicts a contemporary hi-boy assembly very well. With its dropped front axle, 4-bar, cross steering assembly and rear radius rods, all chromed. Add to this a reasonable 9 inch rear end, and coil overs, center K member and separate power booster/master cylinder.
The Motor & Trans consists of the little Windsor hooked to an auto. The engine runs a beautiful 2 piece chrome 4barrel carb. Most of the other engine accessories are chromed, as are the headers and transmission oil pan.
The Interior consists of a multi-piece interior, with the bench seat and other interior upholstery being done in a wide-pleated design. The dash has five gauges, with decals used for the gauge faces.
The Wheels & Tyres are a real nice set of Halibrands with 3-bar knock-offs, and are some of the best found in a model. The tyres are big rears, and very small and wide radials for the front. The fronts in my view are a bit small and wide for a hi-boy.
In conclusion, this kit really showcases what the model companies can do in the 90s. It builds into a beautiful hi-boy, and requires very few modifications to get it looking just right.
Detailing Gaps
To add a little bit more realism to your models, simply get a black fine line marker (width .3 or so) and where the engraved door, bonnet and boot gaps are, simply run the fine line marker along these gaps to get a realistic dark line. Note: You should do this after the model is painted and finished.

Alan Barton of Perth built this 30 coupe many years ago, based on the Monogram kit.
