Issue No. 14 July 1998
Andrew Parish of Hilldale, NSW, was the winner of the raffle car graphics competition. Andrew's design was selected as the winner by our panel from over 200 entries sent in from all over Australia. Andrew's entry showed the traditional style of hot rod black, on most of the body areas, but was topped by a bold swirl with splash graphics along the side, allowing the use of some of the wild pearl colours available today.
Many thanks to all those who sent in their thoughts on a suitable paint job for the raffle car.

Andrew's winning entry
The ASRF's '32 Ford 2-Door Touring raffle car is coming together very nicely, thanks to the hard work of the members of the NSW Division, and the many others that are helping to complete the car.
The car is currently apart again, and is off to the paint shop for some slick 2-pac paint. From here it is just a matter of assembling all the quality parts supplied by our fantastic sponsors, and having the hardtop and interior trimmed in fine style, with a design to compliment the paint work.
We are pleased to announce that paint and materials have been generously supplied by ICI-Autocolor (Dulux) for the raffle car. It is hoped to 'Debut' this beautiful car at the Rickshaw's State Title Show in Newcastle in July, with the car close to completion for the show.
