Gordon's T-Rex Mobile....too good?

I hope that everyone had a chance to watch "The Winston." If you did, you will remember the Jurassic Park car, driven by Jeff Gordon. He botched his qualifying run and had to start 19th in the feature event. After the first segment, he finished third. They inverted the field and he still finished well. Then in the third segment he won collecting a huge payday in the process. Showing that his car was by far the best one in the field. Jeff Gordon was running the new Hendrick's experimental chassis. After his performance, drivers and fans questioned the legality of the new chassis. Well to all the doubters out there, I will say this: Get over it. If you have ever watched inspection for any NASCAR sanctioned event, you would know just how hard they examine the cars. Even though Jeff Gordon is one of the best driver's on the circuit, NASCAR wouldn't think twice but to boot Gordon's tail out of the competition if they saw something that wasn't legal. Dale Jarrett, close competitor to Gordon in the points, said that he would not be happy till that #24 car went into the wind tunnel. So be it. I think what Jarrett should do is take Jeff up on the offer he made during an interview shortly after The Winston. Give Jeff and Ray the #88 Car for an hour and give Yates and Jarrett the #24 car for an hour and let them take it out on the track. That is where these things should be settled anyway. Don't sing it, bring it. The media is looking for something to possibly degrade NASCAR racing, it is becoming the most popular sport now, and the media always wants to start some kind of contraversy. Don't use the media to support you're gripes. There is no need to make a big public scene about Jeff Gordon's T-Rex Mobile. It is time that the fans and the drivers realize that Jeff Gordon is the real goods and he didn't win the 1995 Winston Cup Points Championship as a fluke. Gordon is a talented young driver and it is time you all make way for him. By the way do you remember anyone wanting to inspect Dale Jarrett's car after he blew away the competition last year in the Coca~Cola 600?
