By the title I'm sure you know who I'm referring to. That's right, Dale Earnhardt Jr. He is, by far, the hottest driver on the Busch Series with at last count 5 victories. He has been named "The Dominator" already in his brief stay in the series. Hate to admit it but he earned the name. Little E. is the Jeff Gordon of The Busch Series. If you want to know where he is on the track, look towards the front. He is usually there lapping traffic while the rest scratch their heads. I really hate to agree with Earnhardt fans, but I have to on this one. This kid drives almost exactly like his daddy used to. He is young, aggressive, and ask Joe Bessey what happens when you're in his way. I watched him get some poetic justice in South Boston, much to the shagrin of Earnhardt fans. After making two deposits to the wall, Little E. was black flagged, a move that certainly took the race away from the Dominator. This was a fair move, NASCAR won't put up with the stuff that made his dad famous. Atleast not anymore. The funny thing is is the fact that if it would have been a bigger track, the kid might have won. A short track like SoBo (as its called here) won't allow you to get many laps back.
I think what sums it all up for Little E's future is this. At South Boston, I heard a fan come by dressed in his Earnhardt black yelling, "Twenty more years of an Earnhardt!" As he proceeded to chug another beer. What the man says is true, Little E is here to stay. Earnhardt fans rejoice and everyone else, get out of the way. Thanks for listening.
